Subscription, Credits and Refund Policy
Plans and billing. Plans bill monthly or annually in advance to your payment method and renew automatically at the then-current price until you cancel. The price, renewal period and cancel instructions are shown next to the button where you start your plan. Taxes are added where required.
Waitlist and card. We collect a card to hold your place. We do not charge it while you are waiting. When invited, your plan starts only when you click "Start plan." Downloading Output without a watermark starts your plan.
Plan refund window. Within 7 days of your first paid charge, including the charge at the end of a trial, you may ask for a refund of that charge by emailing info@setclipper.com. We aim to process refunds within 2 business days.
Free trial. New plans may include a 7-day free trial, one per person, card, device and household. Your card is charged the plan price when the trial ends unless you cancel before then. We email a reminder before the first charge.
Cancel. Cancel any time in Account (the same way you signed up); cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period and you keep access until then. We email a reminder 30 to 60 days before each annual renewal. If you do not cancel before renewal, the renewal charge is non-refundable.
Credits. Credits are a limited, revocable license to use features at the credit costs shown in the app (which may change). Plan credits expire at the end of each monthly billing period (for annual plans, at the end of each month of the term) and do not roll over. Purchased credit packs expire 12 months after purchase. Credits have no cash value, are non-transferable, are not "gift cards", and are forfeited on termination or closure. If a job fails because of a Setclipper error, we may restore the credits used; that is the sole remedy.
Refunds. All fees are non-refundable, including partial periods, plan credits, unused plan time, renewals and downgrades, except (a) a purchased credit pack that is completely unused may be refunded if you request it by email within 14 days of purchase, (b) where applicable law requires a refund, (c) the unused part of the current paid period if we terminate your paid plan for reasons other than your breach, or remove a feature you paid for, or you cancel after a material adverse change to the Terms (section 3 of the Terms), (d) a credit pack, as described under Credits, and (e) as we may decide at our sole discretion. Chargebacks without first contacting info@setclipper.com are treated as a breach: we may suspend the account, recover the amount plus fees (including a reasonable dispute handling fee of up to US$15 where the law allows), and share information with our processor.
If we end your plan. If we end your paid plan for a reason other than your breach, fraud or a chargeback, we refund the unused part of the paid period.
Price and plan changes. We may change prices, credit allowances, credit costs or plan features. Changes apply from your next billing period after the effective date. For an increase in the recurring price of a plan you already hold, we email you at least 30 days before the new price first applies and explain how to cancel before then (section 4 of the Terms). If you cancel before the new price applies, you will not be charged it; if we remove a feature you paid for during a paid period, you will not be charged for the unused part of that period.
Failed payments. We may retry failed payments, suspend access, and delete content after 30 days of non-payment.
