Requires a Mac with Apple Silicon (M1 or newer) running macOS 14 or newer. Intel Macs are not supported. A Setclipper account is needed; some features use credits, and paid plans add more. If a download stops, start it again.

Installing the early access build

This early access build is signed ad hoc and is not notarized by Apple yet, so macOS asks you to approve it once with Open Anyway. It runs on Apple Silicon Macs only (M1 or newer), not Intel.

  1. Open the downloaded file and drag Setclipper into Applications.
  2. Open Setclipper from Applications. macOS says SetClipper was "Not Opened". Click Done (not Move to Trash).
  3. Open System Settings, then Privacy & Security, and scroll down to the message that Setclipper was blocked. Click Open Anyway and enter your Mac password.
  4. Open Setclipper again and click Open. You only need to do this once. From now on it opens normally, and updates install when you quit Setclipper.
